Insightrix Panels
In response to ever-growing demand from clients and to an ever-growing
population, in early 2008 Insightrix launched “SaskWatch” – a
Saskatchewan-only panel of survey respondents. The panel consists of
people from the general population in our province who have agreed to
participate in online surveys on an ongoing basis.
Panelists who sign up will receive survey invitations by email on a wide range of topics over the course of the year. Our panelists have a chance to influence political, social and consumer decision makers with their thoughts and opinions.
Panelists enjoy several benefits of membership
including:
- The chance to participate in interesting surveys on a variety of topics on a regular basis.
- A venue to voice their opinions and have a say in what people in Saskatchewan really think about local issues, politics, and topical subjects.
- The prospect of earning reward points which may be redeemed for cash or donated to charity.
-
Chances to win cash draws and other prizes.
- Access to a personal portal, where panelists can update their contact information, access new surveys, and check their reward point total. Future features include panel newsletters and fun interactive games.
A few details about the SaskWatch Reward Points System:
- Each point is worth $0.10
- Each survey will have a minimum point value of 10 points ($1) and up to 50 points ($5). At times, there may be surveys worth more points if they are longer than 15 minutes in length.
- The registration survey is worth 20 points ($2), and three other additional profiling surveys are worth 10 points each ($1 each). Fill out all 4 surveys and you will have earned $5 worth of points!
- Once panelists have accumulated a minimum of 100 points ($10), they may redeem their points one of two ways: a) they may have a cheque sent to their mailing address or 2) they may choose one of our preferred charities to donate their cash.
Panelists will have the option to cancel anytime and opt-out of the panel if they decide it is not for them.

Feature / News
Concern over contracting H1N1 increases in the province; a majority believe that provincial authorities have done a fair or poor job in managing the distribution of the vaccine.
A new independent online poll conducted by Insightrix Research shows that 66.4% of the public are either very concerned (19.7%) or somewhat
concerned (46.7%) about their or someone else in their household contracting the H1N1 virus. This is up from 55.9% who were very or somewhat concerned about contracting the virus just
one month ago. The poll was conducted between November 6th and 10th, in the midst of initial public vaccinations throughout the province.
A total of 800 randomly selected panel members participated in the online research study between November 6th and 10th, 2009. The data are weighted by age and gender to match
the general population of the province. Quotas were set by region to match the general population. As the research was conducted online, it is considered a non-probability
proportion sample and therefore margins of error are not applicable.
